Tasting Notes
A classically-styled Chardonnay with rich aromas of ripe tropical fruits, salted caramel, and toasted hazelnut leading to rich notes of crème brulée and shortbread on the palate, balanced by a vibrant acidity and hints of toasty oak on the finish.

Vineyard Notes
Bien Nacido Vineyards is an iconic American vineyard located in the Santa Maria Valley along the central California coast, which has been producing highly acclaimed vintages for over 40 years. It has been named one of the Top 25 Vineyards in the World by Wine & Spirits Magazine, and in 2010 the California State Fair named Bien Nacido Vineyards "Vineyard of the Year."
Winemaker Notes
The 2015 vintage was also of high quality, but very low yields in many varieties. The harvest will also be remembered as one of the earliest ever. The relatively dry and warm winter resulted in small clusters of grapes with highly concentrated flavors yielding wines of deep, rich flavors and excellent quality with deep color and lovely fruit aromas. —Brooks Painter, Director of Winemaking
Food Pairing Notes
Perfect with herb roasted chicken, grilled summer vegetables, and cream-based sauces.
