Very complex and intriguing aromas of honey and apricot from the noble rot “botrytis cinerea” show on the nose, with honeysuckle and a floral note of rose petals. It is very succulent and rich on the palate, and balanced with crisp acidity.

We first tried this as part of our sampling back in 2011 while we were there for our Honeymoon. We bought two bottles for the week and when we got back home we knew we'd want more. For our one year anniversary we bought three more bottles, and the year definitely made it stronger than last year.

My wife and I are not big drinkers at all, and so this wine is just perfect to have small glasses with desserts and other sweet goodies.

I was not a wine drinker but since I tasted the dessert wines from the Castle... and it started my love for it. And I love this wine the most... still has a hard time pronouncing the name, but I'm proud to give them away as gifts, especially to my boss :)
