"Pale golden yellow color with billowing lychee, apricot, clove, and floral aromas. On the palate, it’s medium-bodied, dry, and viscouse with good acidity and ample pear, apricot, sweet citrus rind, honey and spice flavors.  You don’t often see “hedonistic’ and Gewurztraminer in the same sentence, but that description fits this wine. Lingering satisfying finish."

"Think of pairing with grilled scallops, sushi, spicy Thai and even lemon peppered chicken. This “Dry” Gewurztraminer has just a kiss of sweetness that rounds out the flavor profile. Aromas of Meyer lemon, honeysuckle, graham cracker and floral notes. A round and slightly viscous mouth-feel with soft acidity. Flavors of pear, Meyer lemon, tropicals, minerality and spice with honeycomb on the finish."

"Mendocino County’s Anderson Valley has long been something of a secret treasure of American wine, particularly when it comes to this variety, and until recently the local wineries had the production market cornered.  This release shows the wine acumen of the Sattui Family as they reach for prime fruit that’s a little outside of their Napa Valley home. This wine presents lychee, pear, stonefruit, fall spice and stony minerality with just enough residual sugar to keep the fruit lively and in balance with the other aromas and flavors.  The long crisp finish rounds out a wine that awaits the chance to accompany your favorite Thai dishes."

Tasting Notes
Floral, spicy aromas of lychee nuts, rose petals, clove-like spice and apricot among others. On the palate, the wine shows an oily texture typical of dry Alsatian Gewurztraminers.
