AWARD WINNER-2013 San Francisco Chronicle- Double Gold
A wax sealed bottle is a beautiful addition to your wine rack, but can be intimidating when it comes time to open it. This is easier than you may think! Simply plunge your corkscrew through the wax, as if it were not even there. Lift the cork slightly and wipe any wax crumbles from the opening. Pull the cork the rest of the way out and enjoy!
We have produced a video showing how to open wax sealed bottles. Click Here to view the video.

Intense, opulent, seductive; exhibiting abundant aromas of licorice, plumbs, black currants, cherries and earthy undertones in its lush, fleshy, succulent personality.
Double Gold Medal - 2013 San Francisco Chronicle International Wine Competition
A very flavorful, elegant and structured red wine in the style of high-quality, very limited-production, fine Cabernet Sauvignon wines from the Napa Valley. Excellent long-term ageing potential
Food Pairing Notes
Pair with foods as bold as the wine, such as roast game meats, grass-fed steak, or grilled portabello mushrooms with reduced balsamic vinegar glaze.
"Castello di Amorosa Il Barone - Castello di Amorosa’s wines have gained top place in our tastings numerous times no matter the price range, but why not go for the mother ship? The Il Barone is one of the winery’s uber-premium wines. My Santa Baby song would definitely include a gift certificate to tour this authentic Tuscan castle followed by a food and wine pairing in the Royal Apartment. While you’re at it, why not be King or Queen for the day? " - St Helena Star/ Napa Valley Vintners blind tasting panel
