Production Notes
The influence of “sur-lies” aging is apparent, providing a creamy texture and nuances of toasted bread. The initial taste impression is supple, round and textured, followed by mouth-watering fruit flavors and an excellent acid balance. The lingering aftertaste has citrus and mineral overtones and a sweet, woody finish of vanilla and hints of toasted nuts.
Food Pairing Notes
This Chardonnay is rich and supple, finishing lively and crisp. Try with Dungeness crab and other shellfish and rich sauces or roast chicken with mushroom risotto.
